Are you interested in learning about the world of Tarot but don't know where to begin? Are you already reading, but find it difficult to connect the meanings of cards or trust your intuition? If so, this 2-hour workshop is for you.

Together we'll learn about the origins of Tarot, a high-level overview of the 78 cards and their meanings, and how to connect with your deck. We'll even get into a simple reading practice. This is a great class for beginner to intermediate readers/students of Tarot, and will draw from the ideas of Rachel Pollack, Jessica Dore, and my personal practice. To learn more about me, visit foxempresstarot.com

For this class, please bring a fresh notebook at around 100 pages, a pen, a deck of your choosing (good beginning decks listed below). For in-person workshop: also bring a blanket to sit on, and any snacks/drinks you'd like to have/share (we're doing this workshop picnic-style at my favorite park: Barnsdall Art Park.)

Students will be given a packet of Tarot information that will be used during the workshop and beyond.

Recommended Beginner Tarot Decks:

Ethereal Visions by Matt Hughes

Morgan Greer by Bill Greer & Lloyd Morgan

Rider-Waite-Smith deck by Arthur Waite & Pamela Coleman Smith
